Search TipsIn Texas, health clubs are required to register with the state and have a surety bond on file to provide refunds should a gym go out of business. They aren't very good at enforcing registration, but if the gym was registered and did put up a bond, you might be able to receive at least a partial refund. Contact the State of Texas, Statuatory Documents Department, or just search for the Texas Health Spa Act and you can find out if they were registered.
