Apple Inc I Phone warranty rip off Cupertino California

I walked into a cigar humidor while speaking on my I phone and after a few minutes I hear a loud pop followed by static and the phone shut off. The vibration function stopped working after this. I brought my phone in to the Apple store and was told by the "Genius" that the phone had been exposed to "moisture" and Apple would not honor the warranty. We are talking about humidity here not liquid! If the phone is that fragile it should not be sold. The whole experience was degrading and this company has become the worst example of consumer support I have ever dealt with. After years of being a loyal consumer of countless apple products I will never purchase another product from them and will be sure to pass on my experiences to anyone who will listen.
