We purchased a used washing machine from this retailer. The store offers free delivery and free pickup of your used appliance (which they try to fix and resell.) They delivered the unit and hooked it up. The first warning signal should have been the strict NO REFUNDS policy that this company forces you to sign when purchasing.

During the first load, the machine would not drain. We called and they came back the next day with an entirely different unit. This new unit would not move between cycles automatically. My renters were extremely upset.

We called for service on the 2nd unit and we were told that it would be FIVE DAYS before they would pick up the unit, and another week before they could deliver a new one. I was told three days ago that someone would pick up the unit tomorrow, yet I still have no phone calls from the retailer.

The store staff refuse to talk to any customers about service. They force you to call a cell phone number that is rarely picked up. The voice mailbox is always full, so either they don't check their messages or they have many, many complaints. I asked the lady to have a working machine delivered by the end of the week and was told "You don't get to tell me when I will fix your machine, I will tell you." NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

We were fortunate to have paid with a credit card and our credit card company reversed the charges. I still have the broken washing machine and I cannot get a hold of anyone to come pick it up, nor has anyone called about sending someone to service it. Stay away!

Appliances for less came out, picked up the appliance (dishwasher) and is refunding my money.  They did what they said they would do.  Thank you Ryan.

I have purchased several appliances from this company for rental properties.  Concerning the dishwasher that was purchased several months ago, it flooded the floor; they came out picked it up, took it to the shop (for a long time) said nothing was wrong with it and we could come to the shop to see it run (which of course we didn't-who has time for that)...  needless to say, it still doesn't work when it was finally returned.  The same hot chocolate mark was still on the door that was there when they picked it up.  My husband who is an electrician and plumber had to go out and troubleshoot it himself (even though it has a warranty).  The water pump will not pump the water through the top and barely through the bottom so we are stuck. 

Ryan was our sales person who tried and tried to get this resolved.  He did have our $50.00 service fee cancelled on the tenants credit card that was taken at the time they returned the dishwasher but the hassle with this stores "service center" was unbelieveable. (According to the contract, you have 24 hours to pay for this but the delivery people would not leave her property until she paid it - again, unbelievable) The lady is extremely rude and argumentative. The customer is always right didn't seem to be in her vocabulary.

Now I have been waiting two days for a response to this situation.  Althought the contract states no refunds, Ryan was going to try to rectify this yesterday and it is now Wednesday (contacted him Monday and spoke with him 1 time Tuesday) and was supposed to hear back yesterday and still have heard back.

Our tenant has 7 children and has gone without a dishwasher for too long.  We are now on our way out to purchase a new dishwasher and minimize this inconvience for her.

Needless to say, I would never again purchase anything from Appliances 4 Less.  What you have to go through to deal with these people isn't worth the cost savings you think you are getting.

From the first report:  My credit card company had to reverse the charge to this company so we ended up paying for it anyway.
