Applied card systems came to our area bringing promises of long term careers with good pay and benefits. Rocco Abbessino along with our city and state officials all at the opening of the site. Demands were high and when unethical collection tactics were not accepted by all employees, they quickly found just how honest most of their employees were. Even with sub-prime customers, there is such a thing as professionalism and it should begin with the company. fdic finally came in and investigated. Thus : Employees were treated unfairly as to the announcement of closing the location. the news media knew (and was waiting outside), the local police, city and state government. were all notified this was going to happen 4/23/03 8:15 A.m. Employees had no idea until they were asked to leave. My question is where was our Governor Wise? Nick Rahall? Mayor Pugh? and Rocco Abbessino? Why the police? What were they afraid of? people who refused to lie for them ?. They only proved once again,how unprofessional they as a COMPANY are. To my many friends...you know who you are!!
