Aramark Uniform Services, a division of Aramark, based in Philadelphia Pa, is one of the most dishonest and disreputable companies in the vending machine industry.  They promise you, when you apply for employment, that someone will contact you for further follow up for a phone interview. This never happens.

This has happened twice to me and others.

They claim to be voted the best place to be employed, This is total bullshit placed by Neubauer, the head of the company.

He has no morals and is totally without a sound reputation.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.

THey are total frauds in the vending machine industry.

Am not responding to you, you are of no consequence.

- Oh really?  For someone you don't think is of any consequence you came back 3 times to post in response to my one post, two of those 3 times specifically calling me a freak.  That is unless the last time you referred to the "Freak from California" you were in fact responding to Flynrider.  But if you were I should let you know that Phoenix is in Arizona not California.

Freak from California

AUTHOR: alpar - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, August 05, 2011

When  a freak from California, who doesn't know his a*s from the tree that he is hugging responds to anything, anybody with an ounce of sense would not respond.  I will continue to advise people with COMMON SENSE not to be bothered with ARAMARK they are amoral and their word means nothing!!!!

Am not responding to you, you are of no consequence.

New to the job market?

AUTHOR: Flynrider - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 03, 2011

Have you received a call from every company you've applied to?  I'll bet not.   If you're miffed about not getting a personal phone call telling you that you did not qualify, you'd better get used to it.   It's just not done, especially these days when a company might receive hundreds of applications for a single job.   Do you think they will pay someone to sit there and make hundreds of phone calls to people they're not interested in hiring?  What would be the point?

"They promise you, when you apply for employment, that someone will contact you for further follow up for a phone interview."

You need to use some common sense here.  If you didn't make it past the first cut, common sense would dictate that they are not going to call you for a phone interview or anything else.

Also, by your twisted logic, I suppose I should be receiving a check from this company any day now.  Because I posted a response to your nonsense, I must be employed by them.  Nice.  I could use the extra cash.

ARAMARK UNIFORM SERVICES

AUTHOR: alpar - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 03, 2011

They are total frauds and crooks. Any responses are by paid employees of ARAMARK.  Their hiring practices are fraudulent as well as their best practices. They make Compass in Charlotte NC look good and that is not saying much!!!!

Stay away, they hire people who are referred to them and who currently Aramark has accounts with, DON'T waste your tin=me!

Did you think

That perhaps that they didn't call you because you didn't even make it past the first step of the process.

Perhaps you didn't wait long enough.

How about another possibility.  It could be that they were waiting to see what sort of initiative you have.  That is would you follow-up with them to let them know you are still interested and wanted to see what is going on with your application, or would you go right to the Internet and complain that they didn't contact you?  This is a tactic that many employers(and not always intentionally) use.  If they have a cart full of applications only a small fraction will "follow-up" with them.  Those who follow-up have not only put their name in the recruiters mind, they have shown that they can take some initiative.

Oh and just so you know many employers are searching various social media and Internet sites to see what prospective employees are actually saying.  So if the name you posted this report is anywhere close to your real name and they do this you can just about forget them even giving you a second look..even if you do call them back.
