I got sucked into this scam this morning. They gave me a number to cancel with. The number had never HEARD of this company!!! So I called the main number from the website and got "steve" who told me my name was not yet in the system and to give it 24-48 hours and call back.


I wish I had read all the reports before being suckered in to this!! I am totally freakin out about this. I even called my credit card to try and cancel and they said the company would still have the right to bill me!!

Julie,

If you purchased originally, you must have liked the service provided, so what changed your mind?

If it was only web complaints, I can assue you we aren't a scam, and you will get your magazines!

If you stopped payment, obviously you won't get them, but we'd like to make you a happy magazine reading customer, and will work with you.

Frankly, these web reports disturb me. I work for a great company, and the internet has the ability to destroy customer relations in seconds. It's just terrible in how it impacts everyone.

Write to me at accountant@areacirculation.net, and I'll do anything to make you happy. We seriously don't make money on initial sales, but only in the renewals aspect when you re-purchase do we see a profit. It's a strange business that relies on consumer happiness more than anything else I know.

Talk to me, I'll even call you in person if you like. I promise I'll make you happy.

P.S. I'm doing this on my own accord because while researching a greater web presence, I found these complaints. I'm handling them one by one, in person, because our internet presense is my responsibility.
