Arlinton Estates Trapping Tennants Against Own Word Muskegon Michigan

 Arlington Estates had seemed like a great place to live when we had first heard of the community. My fiance and I were estatic to be approved and had recieved our trailer from family. So we signed the lease and all was good for about the first month or so. We slowly started to realise that not all was as good as it seemed. For one we had problems with neighborhood kids tunning through our yard snd the park said there was nothing they could do. Then we had a death if an immediate family member and when we asked the park for a week extra of time to pay rent due to the funeral costs, we were practically ignored and no help was even offered.

Now we face a dilema of the park turning back on their own word about having another person purchase OUR (the trailer was fully owned by us) trailer and takkng over the rest of the lease. We were told that if we found a willing buyer they could relieve us of our lease and now that we found our buyers, they are turning down every applicant to our trailer and won't give any reasoning. They are also now telling us that our lease will automatically go into a month to month lease after the 12 months wether we want it to or not. We are being trapped and forced to pay on a lot that we arent even living at when we have a buyer who they refuse to approve despite being more qualified than ourselves. It's ridiculous that we are not allowed to even sell our own home after being told we could.
