I attended a free meeting that promised us that we would be able to make a fortune and learn the real estate business and flip homes. We then purchased for $1500 for a three day weekend with promises to meet the real estate mogul Armando Montelongo . When we arrived there was just affiliates of Armando Montelongo .But they got us so excited and we really wanted to learn the business so we invested 42k thousand dollars for training and asset protection. WE did meet Armando finally when We went on the bus tour and thought everything was great, not realizing how foolish we were because after not sleeping for more than 2-3 hours a night. Armando kept us up all night with stories and silly outrageous things we spent another 25k because we were going to be mentored for 2 years. IT was not two years and the calls were only a few months. They promised us a house in CA to fix up but after several hundred offers we made, we were never to get any. On the bus tour our leaders had already made offers on the properties that he had us all bidding on. We were told to do so many things when we got back it didn't apply to our state. It was all confusing and after setting up corporations in Nevada, the time it took and the price was double than any non affiliate of Armando. It was outrageous. We had our son go directly to the lawyers they had used and the price was 1/2 of what we paid. It took months for them to get us our corporate books and we never got the proper walk through as we had paid for. It was all so unfair and deceptive. WE are WARNING people because we don't want you to be had as we were and so many others. WE had already knew the flipping business to some sort and the info we learned was not worth the price tag and promises that were not kept.
WE would like our money back. We hope there is a class lawsuit and people who have spent their life savings not be taken advantage of like we had been. :(
