This company called to settle a debt with me. I settled the debt in full and asked to have the information removed from my credit file. After about 60 days the reporting agency said arrow confirmed the dept. I called them up to inquire about the the debt and they said the debt I settled was some other debt I never heard of and the one on the credit report is the one they are reporting.

I never had to account with this company. I asked arrow to provide me with any details of this account. I sent in certified letters as well as numerous other letters and they ignored each and everyone. They refuse to remove the information from my credit report and basically robbed me blind.

I suggest anyone that has any dealing with this company tell them you rather go to court and have a judge make a determination.

Ive called attorneys made FTC complaint and still can not get this company to remove or give me any information.

I WOULD NEVER EVER SETTLE AN ACCOUNT WITH A COLLECTION AGENCY I WOULD RATHER GO TO COURT AND HAVE IT SETTLED THERE. AT LEAST YOU WILL HAVE SOME COURT RECORD.
These company's basically have the power to make up debt and strong arm consumers into paying these debts by holding your credit hostage. The reporting agencies are no help and give these people the benefit of the doubt with no legitimate proof.

Why should a consumer have to show proof that they paid or do not owe money while these credit agencies like arrow and Palisades can say you owe money and well if they say it it must be true.

Taking them to small claims court is another nightmare I tried to take out a small claims summons out. I found out I have to sue in their state. It's better to have them spend their money on attorneys and bring you to court. I'm stuck between a rock and hard place. Hire an attorney I am going to pay him $500 or I can just pay them for the debt I really don't owe. Being strong armed by the system

If you have been strong armed by this company please report it to the FTC

It may cost a few dollars more, sue them in federal court or state court, not small claims.

From what I understand of the law a party can bring a suit in the state they live in
