I just want to share a few of my experiences regarding Arrow Trucking. I worked for Arrow from 12/07 to 06/09 right from the straight I encountered problems within the company I was routinely given bad fuel routing and bad short range directions to both shippers and receivers that I later found out have been customers for some time. Why would you, after years working with a company have bad directions? On 03/13/08 I was given a load that I could not legally deliver by the needed date of the 17th (per DOT regulations), I immediately informed my DM of this problem and was told to go ahead and pick up the load anyway and that the delivery date would be changed on the 17th I received a call from my DM yelling at me as to why I was not at the delivery site, I then reminded him of the issue and was told to get the load there anyway. On the weekend of 05/15/08 I was forced to drive over 140 miles unpaid and with out A/C due to my DM. the On 05/21/08 I was in a shop for repairs to the A/C after letting my DM know this fact the next day he called me wondering why I had not picked up the load he had told me to wait on. the problems came to a head on 06/15/09 while in Laredo, TX I delivered a load then took trailer to shop for repairs while there I informed the office personal that I needed fuel and food and was told I would have to wait for a load after 5 pm that night I was running out of fuel and needed to eat so I drove to the nearest truck stop after I got back I was informed that I was fired and to leave the yard without my belongings (was told that i could pick them up the next day) they even called the Laredo PD on me. Arrow left me sitting outside with no transportation and nowhere to go. I was told the next day that they would get me a ride home but they never did that either.
