Arrow Trucking, Dr. Mgr- Paul Owens, Safety Dir- Dave Turner Liars and Thieves Tulsa Oklahoma

I started working at Arrow Trucking in April 2009. The Friday my training ended they sent me and six others to Houston and beyond. (Six of us stayed in Houston and the other one went to Laredo.) We got to Houston late Friday night. Had to stay in our trucks all weekend. The a/c on my truck went out. I finally got a load out of Houston on Weds. Still no a/c!

I got routed from California to NM and when I got almost to NM, the dispatcher called and told me I was suppose to be on the way to Wilcox, AZ in stead. She said she had made a mistake and I had to turn around. I was over 400 miles off route. This was actually her second mistake; the first time she told me my load had been cancelled and it had not been.

On this trip in one day I had four blow-outs due to a bent axle on my trailer. When I received my check the Driver Manager and the safety dirctor had payroll take $403.00 out of my check for being "out of route" and they also took the price of two of the blow-outs out my check as "cash advances". All in all, the company says I had over $800.00 in cash advances and I only worked for them from 04/08/2009 thru 05/11/2009.

Then when I was finally routed to Tulsa to the main terminal, I got there on Saturday mid morning and was told my DM wanted to have a meeting with me Monday morning. So I spent another HOT weekend in the truck, still with no a/c. Monday morning comes and my DM Paul Owens tells me I'm FIRED. His reason was: 1) There had been an anonymous call to the company stating I had been in THREE accidents in the company truck in the past 90-days. (If you notice above I stated I only worked for them from 04-08/05-11-2009.) That is one month and three days... When my truck was inspected by the Safety Director, Dave Turner, there were NO marks or any indication I had been in any kind of accident.
2) They said "I was not Their Company Material." (Just what does that mean??)

When I received my last pay check; they had me down for another pay advance dated the 12th of May. NOTICE.... I was Fired on the 11th of May!

In my opinion, Arrow Trucking empolyees are LIARS and THIEVES!! I'm wondering if they had to go to school to be this dishonest!! I was told by another employee that was quitting, that "Arrow had a 100 percent employee turnover rate." I TRUELY BELIEVE THIS NOW!

If you see their ad for employment on the internet..Run like crazy! I wish I had!
