A new name and image was created for this elaborate "massage studio" to cover up a shady reputation for payoffs and sexual activity to local celebrities and "upscale" clientele. Walk- Ins are allowed a room with a shower to clean up any evidence of prostitution. Massage Therapists and staff were usually not allowed breaks and were verbally mistreated. The owner lied about investments and monterary rewards to open up similar business fronts at a different locations under an assumed names.
When I refused to comply with such an environment, I was wrongfully terminated. It was explained by her that 90% of clientele would be male construction workers, and local celebrities and how she has done things that she didn't like to earn cash.
