A few short years later, our couch and love seat surface began to peel, crack and flake off. We contacted Ashley and they told us there was nothing they could do, unless we wanted to pay $300 for the love seat, and ??? for the couch to be recovered in the SAME material. [continued below]....
The manager we spoke to, Eric, said that he had the same couch and it was just fine. He also asked to have me send photos to him, the same ones I have shared here, and we got NO response.
We just don't have the money to so quickly have to re-invest in new furniture, and we feel the lack of customer service has been poor. Please help me fight Ashley, clearly something is going on, because there are MANY MANY other complaints on this site similar to mine.
Thank you.

Additionally, when you purchased the furnature you should have been offered an extended warranty. If you had purchased the additional coverage you would be able to make a claim. As is, there's nothing anyone can do for you. The furnature is over 3 years old by your own admission. There's no warranty coverage left on it. You'll need to buy new furnature, might I reccommend spending a little extra to get quality furnature and buying an extended warranty? I buy a lot of furnature from ashley, but I don't expect any of it to last longer than a few short years.
