On November 26, 2011, I ordered $1,808 worth of office furniture from Ashley Furniture. They told me it would be 8 weeks before it came in after I bought it. I decided to cancel the order. I was informed after the fact that ALL SALES ARE FINAL. So what exactly does that mean at Ashley Furniture? It means they will not exchange, return or refund ANYTHING! They are rude about it. They informed me that when I signed the sales receipt that it says on there in 3 different places that all sales are final. I was rushed through the process and nothing was ever explained or mentioned about it. This is a terrible business practice! The furniture has not even shipped and they will not cancel it.

That sure sounds like what "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" means.  What do you THINK it means?

They informed me that when I signed the sales receipt that it says on there in 3 different places that all sales are final. I was rushed through the process and nothing was ever explained or mentioned about it.
- So does it say that on the receipt?  If so then you probably don't have a leg to stand on, and may have to treat this as an expensive lesson learned.  Don't sign ANYTHING until you understand exactly what you are signing.   If they try to "rush" you through the process..either tell them you are not going to sign anything until you read what you are signing or get up and leave.
