Ashley Furniture Sammy Furniture Sold defective furniture and won't speak to me about it Catonsville, Maryland

We purchased several thousand dollars worth of furniture from them. Just over a year later, one of our dressers started separating in the center from the top. Upon further inspection, we saw the entire front center of the dresser was sagging and there were gaps above and below each of the center drawers. We went back to the store for help and we were told it was past the one year warranty and we'd have to pay to get it fixed. They refused to speak to us further about it and told us to go to some random website to look for a repair person. I would have had much less of a problem with this if they had just said they were sorry this had happened and given us the phone number of a trusted repair person. They just brushed us off like they got their money and they weren't interested in keeping us as a customer. VERY poor customer service and since their furniture isn't made very well, you will have a hard time getting any type of response from them when something does happen.
