Purchased Furniture in $12,000 cash and before furniture was delivered I asked to cancel my order. I was told no refunds or exchanges. After receiving furniture it constantly fell apart. After 6 months of Ashley putting me off, they referred me to my extended warranty, Montage. I filed a claim with my warranty and it was denied. I as told by the sales person at Ashley, during my purchase, that if ANY thing happened to my furniture it would be covered. 

Furniture warranty is not covered if something happens to it while moving the furniture, any acts of God such as tornado/theft/fire/crazy ex decides to go ape and destroy it (LOL) etc., if it is a manufactured issue, something caused by your pet (urine ok but not claw marks), the incident must be reported within 30 days of filing the claim, and I'm still learning more!

It will be covered if it is an accidental stain, tear, scratch, etc. but they will only be willing to handle minor things. Since I am requesting 25 pieces to be fixed or replaced, of course my claim is being denied. I filed my claim as accidental damage by my young children. Ashley has told me to slowly file a claim for each piece of furniture so my chances are greater they will accept it. So, If I do one piece a month then it will take me 2 years. 

If I do get lucky and get a credit from Montage at Ashley Furniture, it is limited what I can get. If the item is in stock it will be replaced. If it is not in stock you will get a credit and this is how it works:
Ex. Your Damaged Couch you paid $1000. = you a $1000. credit (you must us in 6 months or you lose it and it must be for the same thing ex. a couch for a couch NOT a couch for a recliner, etc.)

You pick out another couch for $800 and you lose the other $200  OR  You pick out a couch for $1200 and you pay $200 more dollars, therefore it has to be the same price or you get even more screwed. 

Don't forget too, the possible taxes that will be added that you will have to pay and the extra charge to deliver it if you choose to have it delivered to your home. Even though you may have already paid this once the first time you thought you were getting quality furniture, you will be paying it again at no fault of yours. 

This has been a 2 year battle for me that has led me to know where. I have had to repurchase a house full of furniture again with another furniture store that had REAL wood and all this Ashley furniture sits in my garage til justice is served. I have no choice but to take this company go to court to get my money back. Please don't be a victim as I have and buy real wood quality furniture. I recommend Amish furniture or any other place that makes furniture with REAL 100% wood.
