The HOA took me to small claims court 7/24/07 for collection of unpaid dues. They have been trying to prove they are legal for years and have failed. They nevertheless came to court with an agreement claiming they were legal. They tried to hide a damages award to the defendants, yet they claimed legality. The judge dismissed the case with out prejudice but now they claim they sued in the wrong court.
So I have a lien, but no judgment. How can this be? They have collected about $300,000.00 but will not show us an audited report where the money is going.
They scream at us , they do background checks looking for dirt, they lie and gossip, invade out privacy, call Code enforcement, police, animal control just to harrass. Police came to my door saying they smelled drugs. I asked what kind of drugs. Cop wanted entry, but I refused worried he would plant drugs.
They lie to their lawyers and in my case, their lawyers sent the judge letters AFTER he ruled in attempt to get himtoreverse...he would not.
How do we stop this criminal behavior, extortion and intimidation, control. Whatever you do, donot move here or pay them extortion and they will never bother you but you won't get anything for your money.
Anyone got any ideas how to stop these crooks ????

I did not know how this HOA controls individual homeowners. Upon my arrival, I was visited by a crude old woman who handed me her regulations for living here. I then spoke to neighbors who told me horror stories about a small group of mean people who control everything. They told me if you do not pay her she will sic city agencies after you and spread mean lies about you. I have witnessed this and am joining with the majority to stop this group. I was told to read the rip off report website and find it incredible that someown posing as the old lady would write in defense of her. She is uneducated and cannot write at all judging the correspondence I have seen from her. The person who writes for her is a horri ble and nasty person. I know the truth and wish I had never seen this place. I hope someone will stop this insanity and kick them all out. They are indecent and vile. I have christian values and they are infidels who hate God's will.
