ok i'm fine with that upon talking to a possible job contact (an animal hospital) i was informed by the vet that even though i couldn't receive my degree i would be able contact the college and receive a letter stating that i had completed my course and could be hired on said letter. i asked him if that was actually possible being i was in a bit of disbelief that, that was how it worked. the vet procceded to direct me to his assistant x-ray tech who was working off of said type of letter.
needless to say i immediately called the college to ask for a letter. they procceded to tell me that you could not get a letter. when i pointed out that i was told by the vet that i could get a letter they told me that i must be talking to someone who didn't know what they were talking about. the person was very rude and refused to answer any questions. i tried again on a different day with another person and was hung up on. needless to say i never got my letter and ended up only able to work in the kennel for the vet office but it was a volunteer service.
So in the end i would strongly strongly advise anyone wanting to do this college please please please ask ALL questions upfront. talk to the jobs before hand to see what they can except if your having issues with your degrees.
