Where do Where do I start. Well first off I will state I never used or will ever use this service. I found out on my bank statement that there were several charges from this company on my card all amounting up to around 500.00! My bank explained that the only thing showed up is the name "ask now" and no phone number. So I took it upon myself to google the name and find the number myself since my bank explained they couldn't dispute the charges because they were still pending on "ask now" end. Anyways extensive searching I end up finding the customer service number and that it was a psychic and advisor company. I get a hold of a Rep named "Carlos" and explain that there were charges made to my acct from "ask now" and I first wanted to make sure this was the correct company that made the charges. He took my cc number and confirmed there was a profile set up with them matching that cc number. He then asked me my name, date of birth, number, and address. I gave him that information. He said that matched what he had on the profile for the person that set up the Acct. I reassured I heard right and ask him did he already have all my info before I have it to him and he replied yes. I instantly got upset because I now knew whoever used my card was someone I knew or if it was a random person who stole my info and had an awful lot of info on me. He explained to me the person was a female and they have the recorded calls of the person who set up the Acct. I started to think my roommate had to have done this and explained that to him. He then said "Well IF it wasn't you you will get your money back but how we figure out and dermine that is by comparing this call to the calls the person who set up the Acct made and had with the psychic(s)" I ask him ok and is that the only way you determine how to get my money back and how long does this process take. I also let him know I never heard of that determination of a refund before but whatever needs to be done. He told me yes that is the only way and if this if not you and we determine it is then the charges will stand. I said I already said it wasn't me so I'm not worried about that but I was concerned about this voice comparison process and how it works because smart criminals can disguise their voice or by chance our voices could sound alike. Not to mention if it was my roommate that might be a problem because we do sound alot alike so we have been told. His tone and attitude totally changed and he said "Nobody can change their voice if its you its you and the charges will stand" I felt offended and my tone changed as well. I told him that ppl can change their voice and if the voice sounds similar at all then your telling me I'm not going to get my money back? I'm also feeling like hes trying to say something without actually saying it. I been saying this whole call it wasn't me. He then goes on and says "I don't know that. Your saying that but you could be lying. People use our services then want the money back because they didn't get the results they wanted...and in this case the info you gave me about yourself is matching the profile soooo...." I was shocked and outraged! I told him that he was very unprofessional and I cant believe he just said that to me. What kind of training did you have before getting the job. That's not how you speak to people. Anybody in custpmet device knows to keep their opinion about a customer to themselves and even if a customer maks you mad or you feel your being lied to you just do your job. I asked for his name id number and demanded to speak to a supervisor. He laughed at me and said "well she is going to tell you the same thing and I didn't call you a liar I'm just saying what I see and what people try to do I never said YOU are just trying to get your money back but HOLD ON" I told him don't put me on hold until he provides me with his name and id number because I know that trick reps use and they hang up. He kept telling me to hold on and refuse yo give me the info. I kept demanding it then he finally gave it to me and put me on hold. After 10 long minutes the Supervisor comes to the phone. She explains to me the exact same refund process he told me. I told her I understand that what I'm trying to speak to her for is because he was being rude and I explained everything he said and did that was unprofessional. She basically called me a liar and said he is her best Rep and she highly doubts he did these things. That really sent me overboard. I said "now I see where he gets his attitude from you ppl are all the same. What is your name and id number" she raises her voice in a smart tone and says "who is you ppl? What is that suppose to mean? And my name is lisa I have no id number I'm the manager" I was just in rage and disbelief that this company and the people representing it were acting like this. Never in my life have I ever talk to a Rep or supervisor who that rude and said the things they were saying. So I asked her to speak to someone above her or corporates number because this was ridiculous and she had to have an id number. She said there was no corporate office and that there was nobody above her and the sooner I get off Shrese phone the sooner they can "process my claim" I called her a liar and that she had to have someone above her. She said she was only a manager and if they werent there I wanted a number for them an address something. I was finish talking to them and by this piint they werr sounding like a fraud company that probably wasn't going to give me my money back regardless and they probably didn't even have a process for this type of thing. They probably just tell the peraon after a period of time that the voices matched and there is nothing they can do the charges will stick. So to sum it up I hung up on her because clearly she wasn't going to give me the info to anybody higher than her and I was going to get nowhere arguing. So now I'm going to wait for the 2 business days like they said and see what the outcome of the "voice comparison" brings which I'm totally convinced now I will not get my money back. If thats the case I will update this report and seek legal advice to see if I can file charges for this or something. This is absolutely absured and the craziest thing I have encountered with a company! I dont. Know how they are if you are a actual customer but If you have been a victim of fraud or need a refund from them. Expect a war!
