I bought a spray system and a pallet of sealant from them on January 4th 2013. Today is April 15 2013 and I still do not have what I paid for. The equipment finally arrived on Jan 18th  and we tried to use it within two weeks. On first day we could not get it to work - we were on the phone with Tim (customer support) for hours trying everything he suggested. After three hours of trying it looked like it was working using only water up till then.

As soon as we tried using the sealant after we added the water according to their instructions it would quit. Try again, then it quits, you get the picture. Back on the phone and at the end of the day Tim was not returning phone calls anymore. I contacted them the next day and told them I want to return the machine, its not working, I wasted a whole day and now we have to complete the job by hand. After we finished the job after two weeks I shipped the machine back on my dime, and asked for a refund. 

I spoke to Subrina a number of times and then finally Angela. Up till this time the people were cordial and helpful, well it came to a screeching halt! She informed me there is no refund, because I used the machine. I was wondering where they find these amazing smart people to figure out how to test a machine without using it. I had them on the phone from day one and we have pictures of us doing the job by hand which now took much longer and we finished it in early April.

Here is the deal, I bought it on January 4th, it is now April 15th, I still do not have any information back from them. They said it was too cold to check the system two months ago and I have been waiting since. The owner, Judson Burdon is living in the Caribean islands somewhere and the banks they used runs offshore in the Islands. I contacted the umbrella company and have not heard from them. Customer Using Ripoff Report To Blackmail Refund

Mr. Johan Van Heerden (Joe) received all the items paid for in perfect  condition, just as ordered.  All calls with Mr. Johan Van Heerden were recorded.  Mr. Van Heerdan had a heavy accent and had difficulty understanding English at times as well as the basic instructions for the unit.  He called customer service with help to operate the unit as he chose not to read the Operating Manuel included with the equipment.  Customer Service went above and beyond by spending hours on the phone with Mr. Van Heerden to walk him through operation of the equipment.  Mr.Van Heerden states "no customer service, yet we went above and beyond".

Mr. Van Heerden verified the equipment operated successfully (again call recorded) then called our company stating his church parking lot job was complete and he wanted to return the equipment for a full refund.  We reminded him that our policy is not to accept equipment back for a return once the equipment is used, unless there is a mechanical problem with the equipment which at that point we will repair the problem and get it right back to the client.  Policy page: http://www.asphaltkingdom.com/our-policies.html

Mr. Heerden then claimed there was something wrong with the equipment.  He shipped the motor and pump back to our warehouse for inspection.  The equipment was covered in sealer and was clearly used, pictures were taken.  The motor and pump were fully inspected and operated (On video. Please contact us for the youtube links of the video) successfully without any mechanical difficulty.  We then shipped a brand new motor and pump back to him, instead of his used one that was tied to a piece of plywood with rope.  Mr. Van Heerden was advised of their successful operation but to go above and beyond we sent a brand new motor and pump.
