I was contacted by Assurance Plus in October of 2006 after searching for work from home businesses. After spending over an hour on the phone with the company, I decided to give them a shot. After all, I was guaranteed a full refund of my money if not fully satisfied with the results. I received a notebook and cd explaining the advertisement process with the affiliated websites. I submitted my paperwork that was to be signed and returned. I was then contacted by a coach to help me place my advertisements. I gave this a try, but realized my advertisements would not be seen if I did not have the funds to put forth to get them in high visitation areas. In February, I called back to tell them this was not going to work for me. I was contacted by another coach, who assured me I would be refunded my money, but I had to wait out the 6 month trial period. I accepted this and went on. Knowing how long it had taken me to receive a response in February, I decided to start calling in March to request a refund, since in April my 6 months were up. I called and e-mailed several different times, and still have not heard back from them. I realize I have been scammed, but hope this will help some one else avoid making the same mistake I did.
