I was a customer of Assurance Wireless because i receive government benefits and got phone service with them. After a year, when it came time to re certify, they sent me a certification form in the mail 3 months before expiration date, i mailed it back. Then close to expiration time, i kept getting text messages that i need to re certify so i called their toll-free number and re-certified through their automated system, then kept getting text messages that my service was about to expire..to re certify. So I called them and inquired that i mailed in the certification form, and to my surprise they said they had not gotten it. They sent me another form 2 days before my service was to expire, i faxed it, and and called the next day to ask if they received it and one representative said it takes 2-3 days to process and another representative said it take 7 to 10 days. Evidently something is wrong with their automated system and representatives are lying about my not re certifying! Now my service has been disconnected and i am devastated that these people carried me through this!
