Assured Home Financial Literally took $4000.00 of my hard earn money for nothing. Internet

I received a mail notifying me that I may be qualify to reduce my mortgage to 2.3% interest rate.  I was convince this was legit since it had all of my information about my home's financial on it.  So I called Assured Home Financial and spoke to agent Dathan.  I told him that I have been having difficulty paying my mortgage due to my high interest rate. I have been late often but manage to pay my mortgage.  He replied "It would be better if you didn't pay it so that you can receive the loan modification."  He told me he can help me as long as I provided him with some informations.  After our conversation, he told me he would call me back when he process everything to let me know if I am qualify.   
The next day, he called me back and said that I am qualify for the loan modification and my mortgage will be reduce to $1200 monthly.  I was skeptical so I asked a few questions and at the end of our conversation he said you are guaranteed this low rate, I just had to pay the $4000.00 service fee and so I did.  I paid and provided all the paper work that was asked of me.  The process took about five month before my mortgage company sent me a letter letting me know that I am not qualify for the loan modification because I make too much money.  I called Assured Home Financial and questioned them about their promise, Agent Tiana said that I must speak to agent Jill and I left her several messages and she never returned my call.   I called agent Tiana several more times before she answered my call and questioned her about reinburst my $4000, she said they did the paper work and it was not their fault that I was denied.  I reminded her of the guarantee that my mortgage would be qualify for the loan modification before paying the $4000.00 fee.  She replied "You must of gave the wrong information to our agent."
I've called back several time and no one has returned my call.  Now I am behind on my mortgage and out of $4000.  Please don't response to ASSURED HOME FINANCIAL's letter or card.  Trash it when you see it.
