Atlantis Solar & Wind LLC USA(Michael Becker) processed a Purchase Order for me for some batteries, a Kozy Cooler, and a Split Wall AC Unit. PO was sent to me and payment was sent for full amount requested of $1669.35 on 11/26/11. My cashier's check for product was cashed Dec 5th, 2011. I am assuming that because of Holidays & his claims of a move being conducted in China I did not get a quote for shipping till Jan 17th, 2012 in an email. I sent several emails up until this point and a few messages until we finally spoke on Dec 21st, 2011, Michael Becker stated he was away but soon as he got a chance he'd make sure to get products into the warehouse so that he "could" get me a quote for shipping.
He blames me for not paying shipping but admittedly(I have the emails to prove it) did not send me a shipping cost/quote till Jan 17, 2012 after several more emails and voicemails were left asking what was holding up the process as he claimed later my delay in paying is why shipping has "NOW" been delayed, but that is not the case from the evidence. When I did get that, there was a delay of 2 weeks because it was higher than expected; I thought he was shipping from Florida as he said all items were "warehoused" there, but when I spoke to him on Jan 19th, 2012 about the high price, he then admitted the products were actually being shipped directly from China but were already on their way to my home address.
He asked me to hurry & pay the shipping so that he didn't get behind on other orders but that my products were already being shipped and not to worry about it. Because of the higher cost I did not prepare for I took less than 2 weeks to get wired $675 for shipping on Feb 1st, 2012. I really don't appreciate being made to feel that my attempts to communicate to gather this info is bothersome as each I did call once a week to check on the progress, and on my 3rd week I called he told me not to call him anymore because he would call me when the items were put together to ship out, noting that calling him would not change how quickly they ship out.
I feel as a customer who has paid in full and as promptly as I could, deserves the right to know where my products are or what the status is; I do feel this is part of running a business but apparently Michael Becker does not feel the need to be bothered with business questions like this. Michael then stated that he did not charge me storage fees for the 2 week delay, furthering his condescension of my plight to get products I've paid for already and claims the products are ready to go but here we are 2 months after they've been paid in full and almost 4 months since he states all products were put together, and yet nothing has been shipped. In his final email he admits to ALL this, but stated in a phone call that the actual delay now was getting approval for shipping of the batteries.
I have since asked him to then ship the AC units that he says are ready to go & do not need the same approval process but he has since ceased email and phone communication with me. Last email was sent March 6th, 2012 and he left me a voicemail I still have saved on March 23rd, 2012 stating things are ALL ready to be shipped but in emails & voicemails requesting tracking information for my products he has not responded. I have now sent emails requesting products or full refund; he has not responded to those either. He took a total of $2344.35 gladly from me but apparently does not feel any need to communicate with me further on the products I purchased or my requests for a refund.
