This company claims to help starving children but instead ruins the name of the organizations it claims to help. The 'owner' of the company appears to care about nothing more than making a profit for themselves. They go door to door selling gift cards for restaurant.com claiming the proceeds go to help good charities like Action Against Hunger. They actually go door to door selling these $50 dollar gift cards while telling unknowing contributors that all the proceeds go to help hungry kids. The truth is only $1 goes to charity. AAH takes more than 80% of its donated funds and distributes it to those that need it. Atlas gives back approximately 3.2% to kids. This is an outrage, a scam and it must be stopped. The rebuttal to my allegations as stated by the head of the organization, Kai Petrich, "as an organization we are on pace to donate more than $250,000 this year alone." From what I have seen, the average 'fundraiser' sells 5 cards per day. They work 6 days per work and there are roughly fifteen people in that office. 5x6 is 30. 30x52 weeks in a year=1560. 1560x 15 people= $23000. Not a donation to snub your nose at until you consider the fact that they have 15 people working 40+ hours a week presumably. All they can manage is 23k a year when they clearly state they raise more than 6 figures.
