I attended an auctioneer.ca auction in Stoney Creek, Ontario. They have their main office in Markham Ontario and hold these auctions all over the GTA. It is a 100% scam!! They have false appraisals, that are outrageously over priced compared to the actual value of the item. I spent $160 on items that I later found out were barely worth even 20$, and that's pushing it. They sold me fake jewelery that they said was worth over $5000, but it was 100% plastic!!Yes plastic!! I couldn't even sell it for 5$ if I tried. Along with "gold plated" collector cards, they claimed worth thousands, and coins that were worth mere pennies. This is by far the biggest scam auction out there. They deceive you into thinking their items are worth so much, but you are getting ripped off. This is fraud, as simple as that! On top of them ripping you off, they also charge you a 15% buyers premium because they claim your getting such a good price. This added $20 to my total, and also with tax this was going downhill fast. I can't believe the audacity of them to charge you a fee for buying their cheap, no-good items, it's a rip-off enclosed in another rip-off!!!!! It bothers be tremendously to know that people who are trying to spend their money their are getting stabbed in the back! Various people were bidding hundreds and even thousands because they were told the items were worth 10 times more. It disgusts me that everywhere we go now a days we are being scammed or ripped off. I seem to have the worst luck especially. We need to take a stand and stop their fraudulent money-stealing ways and raise awareness to what is being done in our own community!
