Buyer Beware!! Austin Door Man has a history of ripping people off. Glenn Hussman and Lauren Holt.
My firm Global Machinery Co. llc. www.globalmachineryco.com purchased a Castle TMS-35 boring machine from Austin Door Man. The photos of the machine he posted were great. The machine arrived at our customers and it was a different machine and was junk. "BAIT AND SWITCH" We contacted Glenn and he refused to work it out, take the machine back, or participate in the repairs. He blocked my emails and will not answer the phone. He did not mind taking our money.
We have had to work with our customer to send in a technician, buy the parts, and get them installed. The repairs are over $1,000.00. Dealing with Austin Door Man will cost you money.
LOOK AT WHAT THEY DID TO THEIR CUSTOMER!! BUYING THEIR DOOR PRODUCTS
We are building a custom home and contracted with Lauren and Glenn the owners of Austin Doorman on June 8th 2011. We finalized the order on June 27th. And we were told the order would take 6 to 8 weeks. Lauren called in a frantic to get the deposit of $10,344 before she was leaving for vacation for a week. Vegas I think?? This should have been my first clue.. Anyhow .. Nothing got ordered prior to as explained. A few weeks later after we called again and again to check on the order and additions needed. Lauren once again needed more money for the exterior doors, another deposit of $8600.00. The entire door package was only $26,000 and change.
THEY NEVER DELIVERED THE DOORS AND KEPT THE MONEY
She cannot tell us when we will get the remaining doors but they are ordered?? And the refund check will be cut at that time?? Basically she is full of S..T and the money is gone. We told her to cancel the doors outstanding and just give us our money? No response!! We have since had to order all the doors less the 3 delivered.. this has been going on for 4 months!!! DON'T EVER GIVE MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE!!!!
I highly recommend you do not buy or sell to Austin Door Man. DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY OR EXTEND CREDIT. They have changed the company name and bank accounts. The address on the website is not current. If Glen owes you money or has ripped you off like us his cell number is 512-895-6545. Call quick before that changes as well.
