Against all my better judgment, i decided to try this company out because the flowers were $20 bucks less for the same exact flowers so I thought... "not bad". Sometimes, when things seem too good, they often are.
So, my experience ordering seemed easy as pie. Found my flowers, input the dates I needed them to arrive ( Saturday April 13th @ 2pm ) and then paid.
What could go wrong right?
Well... i patiently awaited my gf's call of "oh my god baby, you sent me beautiful flowers on my birthday, how sweet, i love you" etc. All the things a guy hopes for when doing a nice gesture for his lady.
Saturday 4pm rolls around, and nothing shows up. Im hinting for my gf to keep checking the door and shes like "babe, nothing has showed up".
Confused I call the company and guess what I get... a call center. SURPRISED! This was the beginning of the end. I knew right off the bat this was going to be bad. Joy, who was not that helpful or Joy-ous about my call, said "sir, i will submit a ticket for you and someone will call you on Monday".... So I replied "ummm, no, you see thats the problem. I can't wait for Monday Joy, my girlfriends birthday is happening right now"... Joy says " im sorry sir but the floral shops are all closed and i have a note saying your flowers were sent yesterday".... I reply "Ok Joy, let me ask you a question, are you in the US?" she says " i cannot disclose that information" ... "ok Joy, so you arent in the US. Well, if you were, you would know that no floral places are closed on Saturday at 4pm."... the long story short of everything was this...
from Joy - I cannot disclose any information about me or my supervisor, and my supervisor is not here. I cannot tell you who the florist is. I basically cant and wont do anything for you. Im just a call center. So, i ripped into her a bit and felt a little bad because Im a super nice guy. Then... i succumbed to the fact that this company blows.
I was told someone would call me immediately to resolve my issue. Flowers not only did not arrive on my girlfriends birthday, but they arrived the day before, WITH NO CARD, so she had no fricking clue who it came from. They also were NOT the flowers I ordered. They went from a beautiful colorful multi rose display to 12 dozen roses. WTF!?!?! Who gives the wrong flowers, with no card, a day off and then offers no assistance, noone calls to refund or fix the issue.
Honestly F%^& this company!!!! If you check my reviews you will see I am super positive. I rarely EVER give a bad review. These guys get a 0 star from me but yelp does not allow.
Lastly, without sounding arrogant, I have social network reach a few hundred thousand so what do you think the first thing I did was. I told everyone NOT to ever use this company. Then I went on yelp and checked the reviews and was so saddened to see so many upset people. Funerals with no flowers, weddings, birthdays. How sad a company cares so little about its consumers. Well, i wont let that stand so I am doing my part. Do yours and tell everyone about how poor this company operates. If someone from this company wants to redeem themselves. I gladly accept you to try.
