I ordered a floral arrangement for my Grandmother's 94th Birthday from the website avasflowers.com. I was assured that my arrangement would be delivered before 4pm on May 8th, her Birthday. I chose an arrangement of pink lupins with a little white teddy bear holding onto the vase. What she got was a crappy arrangement of red carnations and roses on May 13th....5 days after my Grandmother's Birthday!
I called my grandmother at 5pm to ask her how she liked her flowers. She didn't get them. I called the manager at her assisted living home whose office is right inside the only entrance to the place and he had not seen anyone with a floral arrangement even drive up to the building that day. I called Avas flowers and was hung up on. I went online and typed in my confirmation code and got the status : "driver out for re-delivery." Why would the driver be redelivering on the actual day the arrangement was supposed to have arrived? I checked back in to the website everyday for 5 days and the status still said: "Driver out for re-delivery." Really? You've been trying to deliver to an assisted living home for 5 days with no luck? Mind you my Grandmother's home accepts deliveries 24/7. Avas is a bogus sham that lies to their customers just to make a quick buck. On their website it says: "Satisfaction Guaranteed" yet they do not refund anyone's money, ever. They deliver 0% of what I payed them to do. All I asked of them was to deliver the flowers I ordered on time. What I got was a bouquet I did not order delivered 6 days after it was supposed to. They charge a rediculous delivery fee of around 13.50 on top of your arrangement. I wasted 55 dollars on this company and hours of my time ensuring that other consumers don't make the same mistake.
This company obviously stays afloat by ripping people off. They don't refund your money because first time customers would never ever do business with them again.
They should be ashamed!!!
