I have 3 $35.00 overdraft fee for online banking. Here is what happened I wrote out for check online for my daughter and this company. Well my daughters check I have and the company sent back checks to me. now The Money Was never taken out of my account. Repeat I Have the checks! So they have taken all my money and put me in the hole. How can that be right when I have checks totaling over the amount taken out. and then some. And I am on a fixed income. Now my daughter and I are going hungry. No way should they be allowed to do this. and not even that how can they use the word America in there name.

If you look at the bottom of the check, I believe you will see that the account number on the check is not your account number. When you use bill pay and they issue a check, they transfer the funds into a separate account then draw the check against that account. That way they know and the payee knows that the check will always be good. You need to deposit those checks back into your account to use that money again.

You said you wrote out the checks online. But that you have the paper checks with you?
Writing a check online means (usually) that the bank will send the check for you. Were you keeping a copy for yourself? Because you would still have the copies you made even though they will cash the check on the other side.
And when did the money come out of your account? You said the money was never taken out but then they took your money. So either you wrote checks when there wasn't enough money to cover (and the bank charged you a fee for writing a bad check and didn't pay them) or you wrote checks and they cleared plus the fee.....
Need more info.
