This is regarding a complaint that I filed with the BBB in New York regarding Amex Limousine. I made three complaints to the BBB regarding this company and never recieved any type of response from them regarding my complaint. I would think that someone would have taken the time and respond to my complaints after the 30 day grace period that they give to the company to respond to my initial complaint. I also complained to the Taxi and Limousine authorities and recieved a half a*s letter with some lame excuse as to why they could not continue the investigation which would have taken a phone call to to the company to find out who was operating the bus. So I did that and gave the information to the Taxi and Limousine authorities and gee I never heard back from them.
I have also been in contact with the attorney Generals office who did refer me back to the Taxi and limousine authorities for the complaint. I find it frustrating that people can't get any satisfaction from these government agencies after having a issue with a company from thier state. I'm from Ct and I had to deal with a limousine service from Nre York due to the fact that in CT any limo style bus that holds more than 14 people have to be registered outside of CT. I am just very frustrated that the BBB and the authority that over sees these companies gave little time and effort to resolve the issue.
I went as far as to contact news agencies for asistance but being not news worthy I guess was told that they were not interested in looking into the matter. Do I seem upset yes I am. I was a police officer for 27 years to include being in investigations and also a K-9 handler and never would I have ignored any ones complaint. I just feel that this whole thing is a domino effect that just falls back on the little guy to suck it up.
