On August 14, 2012 the bank zeroed out all available balances making it impossible to pay bills, use debit cards, or transfer money between accounts.  Then the bank charged NSF fees because the balances were set to zero even though sufficient money was in the accounts!  This bank FREQUENTLY changes contract terms and tries to sneak extra charges by which they will remove after lengthy on-hold and answering the same questions multiple times with customer service.

What reason did they give you for zeroing out the available balances? It usually indicates either debit card purchase(s) or the possibility od a check you deposited being returned unpaid. And yes, unfortunately if the available balance isn't in the account to cover a transaction it will be returned causing the NSF fee to be charged.

As far as changing contract terms the bank can do it as often as they want as long as they inform account holders of the change before it happens.
