BCB CONSTRUCTION, INC. ABANDONEMENT ORANGE, California

BCB Construction, Inc. was hired to demolish and install new handrail and  the staircase, reinforce existing decks with sister joists for my apartment complex. Despite of notifying the tenants in writing to vacate the parking lot, work started only after a week and they never showed up on the first day of work.  Several phone calls were made, as I have heard nothing from BCB Construction, Inc., I was worried about the possibility of failing to satisfy the contract. There were no notification given for any matters that would cause any delays. Further, the installation of the handrails for the staircase were not safe and secure, repair and replacement of the stairways per code was not accomplished. Tenants were not satisfied and for safety reasons, they refused to use the stairway. There has been no work undertaken as per specified agreement. As per BCB Construction, Inc.’s contract agreement, they are committed to providing 100% satisfaction to their clients.  It doesn't appear though that I am to be one of the satisfied customers. Unprofessionalism, lack of workmanship, project abandonement  and  failure to notify or respond to their client would cost them to have  a GREAT LOST in the construction industry. The project was not fulfilled as per contract agreement. I had to hire another contractor to complete the project!
