BLUE WORLD POOLS holding us in a contract that was very missleading Carson City, Nevada
*UPDATE.. Blue World Pools considered to be industry experts at turn-key above ground swimming pool sales, finance, installation and service.
HE CONVINCED US TO HAVE A BETTER POOL INSTALLED THEN WE HAD ORIGANALY WANTED.. WE STARTED AT 17000 THEN AFTER TALKING TO SOMEONE ON THE PHONE GOT IT DOWN TO 12000.
WE SIGNED THE PAPERS AFTER THE REP TOLD US WHAT EACH ONE WAS....NOW KNOWING THAT WE SHOULD OF READ THEM WITH A FINE TOOTH COMB.
THE MAN ASKED US FOR A COPY OF OUR HOME TITLE. AND SAID THAT WAS ONLY TO PROVE THAT WE OWNED THE PROPERTY CAUSE THEY CANNOT PUT A POOL ON PROPERTY UNLESS IT WAS OWNED BY US..
WELL LATER WE REALISED WE HAD SIGNED FOR THEM TO BE ALOWED TO BUT A LEIN ON OUR HOME. THE REP TOLD US THAT OUR POOL WOULD BE INSTALED WITHIN 3 WEEKS. WE HAD TOLD HIM THAT IT WAS IMPORTANT TO HAVE IT ASAP. WELL MY HUSBAND IS BACK IN IRAQ. THE FINANCE DEPO. CALLED ME 3 WEEKS LATER AND SAID THEY GOT US A LOWER INTREST RATE SO WE WERE ELIGABLE FOR AN UPGRADE AND IT WOULD COST US NOTHING MORE.
WELL I FOUND OUT LATER AFTER VERBALY AGREEING ON THE PHONE THAT THE UPGRADE WOULD COST 6000$ AND THAT WAS THE SAVINGS OF THE LOWER RATE. WELL I WOULD OF RATHER SAVED 6000 AND NOT HAD THE UPGRADE. MY HUSBAND DID NOT AGREE WITH THE CHANGE AND I SIGNED NOTHING. WELL ITS GOING ON 4 WEEKS NOW AND WE STILL HAVE NO POOL.
THEY CALLED AND SAID THAT IF I CANSELLED WE ARE LIABLE FOR 100% EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE NO POOL. AND IT WILL BE ABOUT 2 MORE WEEKS TILL WE HEAR FROM SOMEONE. WELL WE WANT OUT OF THIS CONTRACT, I FEEL LIKE SUCH A FOOL.
BUT I CAN TELL YOU THAT I HAVE DEFANITLY LEARNED FROM THIS EXPERENCE I WILL NEVER SIGN SOMETHING WITHOUT TAKING A FEW DAYS TO READ IT OVER. AND I WILL DEFANITLY LOOK THEM UP ON THE INTERNET FOR COMPLANTS FIRST.
WELL TOMOROW IM GOING TO CONSUMER AFFAIRS OFFICE AT THE MILLITARY POST TO SEE IF THERE IS SOMETHING THEY CAN DO, ALSO MY HUSBAND WILL NOT BE HERE TO SIGN ANY OF THE PAPERWORK WHEN THEY COME TO PUT THE POOL UP HE IS IN IRAQ. SO THEY ARE SAYING THAT HE HAS TO BE HERE OR WE WILL BE LIABLE FOR THE ORIGANIL CONTRACT HE SIGNED...WITHOUT THE POOL.
