BRIGHT HOUSE TAMPA ORLANDO DECEPTION - MISLEADING - AND NOT YOUR "FRIEND" - REFUSED SERVICE ORLANDO - TAMPA Florida
For many years Bright House has advertised great services and customer service -
when moving into a new home in the MIDDLE of the HEART of the company SERVICE AREA -
Online checks of address SHOWED that SERVICE was AVAILABLE AND WOULD BE COMPLETED in 1 WEEK.
UPON REACHING the install date - there was NO contact from BH and NO TECHNICIAN who showed up AT ALL to
COMPLETE THE INSTALL.
BH was called and was unsure why this happened.
2ND ATTEMPT at service setup online ( www.brighthouse.com) and AGAIN - NO SHOW and NO NOTIFICATION of THE reason behind LACK OF RESPONSE.
3RD ATTEMPT at 3rd party site that offered BH services ( http://www.brighthousecableoffers.com ) and after PLACING VALID ORDER where the SITE MENTIONED SERVICE WAS AVAILABLE - EVEN got a call from a REP and HE SAID NO PROBLEM - BH was AVAILABLE THERE WITH ALL SERVICES AVAILABLE.
A FEW DAYS LATER - A call was received from a local number of which the agent on the line mentioned was from the "BRIGHTHOUSE SALES FULLFILLMENT" LINE at 8632882279.
THE Agent on that line finally introduced the idea that SERVICE at desired address would NOT be available at this time and NO INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE IF AND WHEN IT WOULD BE.
At this time the agent was informed of the confusion over this issue and that SERVICE LINES CAN BE SEEN IN THE AREA NOT EVEN 1 MILE FROM THE ADDRESS REQUESTED.
Also MANY OTHER business and residences in THAT SAME AREA were requesting services and were either BLOWN OFF or DENIED for FRIVOLOUS reasons even THOUGH OTHER CUSTOMERS in the area HAD SERVICES THROUGHOUT and as many as 30 - 50 ADDRESSES WERE DENIED SERVICES IN THE SAME AREA.
When the agent was asked WHY service CANT BE PROVIDED to the remaining ADDRESSES - the AGENT RESPONDED by mentioning that it would COST OVER $20,000 TO MAKE SERVICE AVAILABLE....................TO THE SAME AREA AS THE EXISTING CUSTOMERS???????
The agent was then INFORMED that these was ILLEGAL and UNLAWFUL PRACTICES OF OFFERING SERVICES IN THE AREA AND THEN MISLEADING CUSTOMERS BY TELLING THEM THEY HAVE TO PAY LARGE AMOUNTS OF SUMS TO AQUIRE THE SERVICES THAT OTHER CUSTOMERS IN THE AREA DID NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR.
The BBB will be notified and EVERY REPORTING SITE WILL BE NOTIFIED AS WELL for UNEVEN - MISLEADING -and FALSE ADVERTISING of services offered and then NOT BACKING THOSE SERVICES UP BY TELLING .
CONSUMERS AND BUSINESSES THAT THEY HAVE TO PAY FOR THE HARDWARE IN THOUSANDS OF DOLLAR because BRIGHT HOUSE is SO CHEAP that THEY REFUSE to UPDATE - MAINTAIN - OR UPGRADE / PROVIDE NEW SERVICE TO HUNDREDS OF POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS UNLESS THOSE CUSTOMERS FOOT THE VERY EXPENSIVE BILL.
ITS VERY OBVIOUS that BHOUSE is VERY QUICK TO ADVERTISE FABULOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BETTER UTILITY services than other providers BUT DONT STAND BEHIND THEM BECAUSE ALL THEY DID YEARS AGO WAS TAKE OVER A SYSTEM THAT WAS AND IS STILL OWNED BY TIME WARNER COMMUNICATIONS - WHICH DId ALL OF THE LEG WORK AND SUPPORTED SERVICES IN RUNNING LINES YEARS AGO TO PROVIDE THE BEST SERVICES TO CUSTOMERS ALL OVER THIS REGION OF WHICH OBVIOUSLY BH DOES NOT HAVE THE SAME VISION AS REFLECTED IN THIS AND MANY OTHER INCIDENTS THAT THEY REFUSE TO RESOLVE.
