WELL, IT APPEARS WE ALL HAVE THE EXACT SAME STORY. I HAVE READ ALL OF THEM AND THEY ARE ALL PRETTY MUCH THE SAME. I TOO HAVE HAD THIS HAPPEN TO ME. MY QUESTION IS HAS ANYONE AT ALL GOTTEN THERE MONEY BACK? HAS ANYONE FOUND ANY OTHER PHONE # WE CAN CALL OR EMAIL ADDRESS WE CAN EMAIL SOMEONE TO GET OUT MONEY BACK? ANY UPDATED INFORMATION AT ALL? I JUST FILLED OUT MY REFUND FORM AND MAILED IT IN. BUT BY READING YOUR LETTERS IT APPEARS TO ME IT WILL BE LOST THEN HAVE TO BE PUT AS HIGH PRIORITY ACCORDING TO BUYERS UNION THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE TELLING EVERYONE. SO I DON'T THINK I WILL BE ANY DIFFERENT. I JUST WANTED TO SEE IF ANYONE AT ALL HAS GOTTEN THERE MONEY BACK FROM THESE PEOPLE.

THANKS ALL

Want your money back. I have a number for you and you will get it back.

AUTHOR: Danielle - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, August 01, 2005

I have been researching this forever. I did get my money back from my bank. I went in and gave them all the information. And they handeled it. They gave me my money back and got it back from Buyers union. Here is more information if your bank didnt work for you. Call 267-572-0259 Michael Weisberg He is in the payment processing center. Not the same thing as those idiots that answer the phone when we call those other numbers. This is an american man. He is currently on vacation until 8/8 (I called today that is how I know) but on his voicemail he leave another number to contact one of his associates. Her name is Randy. CALL THEM. I have heard that these people can get your money back. Dont be rude just tell them what happened and see from there. She told me she blocked my account so they cant charge again. But again she is kinda on there side because she also told me they were a reputable company. Imagine what I said, lol... Anyway I wanted to speak with Michael and he wasnt in. But I incourage everyone to call these people at this number until all is settled.

O, AND KEEP US ALL POSTED

#7 Consumer Suggestion

Danielle, why are you wasting time calling the crooks and asking for your money back?

AUTHOR: Paul - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 05, 2005

Here's a tip people. If you EVER get taken by a fraud of any kind, don't spend one minute calling back and trying to cancel with them.

Once they have your bank or credit card, there is NO canceling. They'll go ahead and steal you money anyway.

So, don't call. Don't email. Don't shout in the wind. It's all a waste of time.

Instead, stop what you're doing and run right down to the bank. Let THEM put a stop to the payment. That's the only way.

You know, I see tons of victims here who call the fraud up and try to cancel. They get laughed at. Sure, they SAY they will cancel. But, they turn right around and steal your money anyway.

If you wait too long, now the bank won't even help you. The frauds are counting on that. That's why they pretend to cancel. It's a stall tactic to keep you out of your bank until it's too late.

Do what I do when a fraud calls. Tell them this.

I ain't got no credit cards or bank account to give you. And, not a cent to my name.

If everybody started doing that, we wouldn't have to all be worried about telemarketers or do not call lists.

Once people stopped buying trash over the phone, the calls would stop.

But, you can't get anybody to do this. I'm the only one.

What happens when you feed the cockroaches? You make more cockroaches.

Is that what you people want?

By the way, Danielle, you did good to report this here. Yes, other people will get cheated. But, once they come here, they'll know how to stop payment before it's too late.

You won this round!

Buyers Union maybe I can stop them from stealing from someone else

AUTHOR: Danielle - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 05, 2005

Well, guess what? Today I got ANOTHER call from this same company. I know it was the same company because of there accent and the same sales pitch. Only this time they are saying they are from "Walmart" directly. I asked him what company and he said "Walmart" He was offering $500.00 in gift cert. and the charge of $4.95 from my checking. Well, he gave me a number to call with any questions. So while he was doing his sales pitch I called that # from my cell and it was a voice mail not a company.

So I interupted him and told him I just called that # he gave me and it is no company. He said "Mame I have all day you can call any Walmart and they will verify our promotion." So I told him hold on and I would call. I called and he was still there.

Right when I asked for the store manager he hung up on me. That figures. Well I went on to speak with the store manager of Walmart and she said today alone she had had 3 calls on this same scam. She said it is a scam (as if we didnt know that by now) Anyway I just wanted to inform her as to they were using the Walmart name. She said just to not fall for it. I cant belevie that.

That doesnt stop people from falling for it. How many people do you know that will call before falling for it. None of us for sure. Most people wouldnt only after they have been taken. Anyway I was so mad after that I went down to the Sheriffs office and filed a complaint against this company. I am also going to the BBB.

O and by the way in our conversation the guy said it was being recorded for the BBB and they only take checks because they dont want credit cards because in that case that would allow them to charge as much as they want. I told him they could still do that with a check. Then I told him what they did to me. This was before he hung up on me.

Anyway I am going to presue this just because they are still calling the people in my area and they are stealing from others. It is bad enough they stole from me maybe I can stop them from stealing from someone else. I am going to the newspaper also. I will keep you updated.

Thanks

Buyers Union scam, the bank refunded my money

AUTHOR: Danielle - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, July 01, 2005

Well, today I checked my account and the bank refunded my money. I havent had a chance to speak with the bank but they did deposit the money back in my account. I guess the bank will collect there money back from BU. So everyone it DOES pay to go to the bank so get over there it is worth a shot. Before I went I printed out several of the comments here from everyone to show the bank.

Thanks
