Backyard Architect - Mike Gideo and his team stole tools out of my toolbox, wire cutters, bolt cutters, pliars, brooms and shovels. Nothing was sacred. Beware, Mike does NOT pay his sub contractors upon completion of the project. Plano, Texas

Mike Gideo is a crook.  Beware, he tells you a good story, but that's all it is  -- a Story.  First of all, I wouldn't recommend Mike as the quality of his work is substandard.  Additinally, he will try to unbundle the work and charge you extra upon completing what is already in your contract.  He does not pay his subs, and therefore, be sure to withhold enough money during the 3/4 payments to ensure you will have enough to pay the subs to avert a mechanics lien being placed on your hose.  Lock all of your doors and do not let Mike or his subs get anywhere near your tools.  He ripped us off royally.  After he was done, I had to call other professionals out to the house to complete/fix the shoddy work performed by mike and his team.  One day, his team of subs wouldn't go to work until he finally handed over the cash.  They all conspired to sit there and do nothing until he gave them some money - and another story.  He will also help himself to any food/drink/beer in your refrigerator.  You may need to keep your refrig under lock and key when he is around.  His jolly red nose suggests that he likes something more than ice cubes in his orange juice.  You can tell when he is lying to you because his eyes give him away.  And that folks is ALL the time!
