Samething happened to me

I had not accesed bangedup.com in a long time but ran across a old bookmark to the site and decided to check it out. It still had the old bangedup.com site photo and looked like the old site I remembered. It was not a porn site back in the day but did have some nudity and sick photos and videos. It was more of a off-beat news site with odd and disturbing things you would never see in the mainstream media. Its now being used as a false front website portal to suck vistors into porn memberships and fradulent credit card charges. It claims you are getting a FREE lifetime membership pass and needs a credit card for age verification only. I just filed my own report on this fraud today. I'm a adult and was suckered by this but simply reporting it to my credit card company ended it. Don't be intimidated by these theifs or people who post claiming you are stupid for not knowing better. Its a site I trusted in the past and my guard was down and was sicked into the fraud. They engineer the scam/fraud in just this manner to trick and fool you. Don't be a silent victim. report these type of scams to your credit card company right away. They count on you being embarssed and blaming yourself for falling victim to their scam. They make their money of people who don't report it. Report it and the charges will be removed by your credit card company.

I Fell Victim As Well

I too use to visit bangedup.com many times in the past. I guess it had been close to a year since I had visited the site. Today I logged on thier just for some laughs and saw the age verifier. Regardless of what people say, there is nothing in the fine print about any charges, not to mention it says its FREE!!! So I figured I would enter my informaiton for verification purposes and everything would be fine, however I had two seperate $9.97 charges as weall as a $39.94 charge. Within about five minutes of entering my credit card information, Visa Fraud Department contacted me and warned me of the site. I now had to close that account, open a new one and have to wait for a new card. However, I do want to note that bangedup.NET is NOT the site that I am talking about, bangedup.COM is. After I talked to a rep at Visa I also emailed my State Attorney General and the FTC.
To the owner of bangedup.net...sick b*stard...I really think they should NOT be allowed to use your images as it is pretty much a scam in that sense. I am somewhat upset that you would even allow this site to continue to represent a false impression of bangedup.net. I feel that you are somewhat responsible for what happened to me and to others. Don't get me wrong, I still love your sight, now that I know it moved. There should be a disclaimer on the .COM site.
As far as to who owns the bangedup.com site now, they are shameless, lowlife crooks and I hope someone shuts them down.

I now own Bangedup.NET- which is 100% free. We have not charged anyone and will not charge anyone. So including the .NET site in your original story is WRONG.
Make your own decision on which site to check out, but facts are facts.
Thanks-

How could you have missed it?

I'd say that it's pretty obvious that this is a porn site. While I didn't go through the registration process, I'd be willing to bet that there was some fine print about the charges.
