Here is what you can expect from this Bank when they get a chance to charge a fee they will take without hesitation even though they weren't even the original credit card co ( and I don't carry balances on any credit cards)

Then the first notice I get from B.A. is a late fee and interest, before I even received my new valid credit card from you. When I asked to speak to a supervisor regarding getting the fees reversed, I was told I there was no supervisor available to speak, until I paid the balance due first, and that I should take up the problem with the missed payment with Citibank even though the fees were "paid to B.A." I paid the balance in full on the same day. measly 2 dollars. If this is how Bank of America treats its customers and is this desperate to squeeze whatever they can from good paying cardholders I WILL NEVER give another dime of my business to your company again. Bank of America's simple reply:
Dear Richard P. M,
Thank you for your inquiry dated 5/19/09 regarding a late fee adjustment. We are happy to assist you.
After reviewing your account, we have determined that the $39.00 late fee assessed on 04/15/2009 was applied correctly. We regret we are unable to remove the fee at this time. Therefore, this transaction will remain part of your account balance.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We value you as a customer and appreciate your business. If we may be of further assistance, please contact us again by e-mail. Thank you for choosing Bank of America.

I never liked them in the past but had no choice when they took over my Upromise Citicard, and was going to give them a chance but now they will never get my business nor should they get any other person's business. THis bank can take tax payer money and then turn around a and go fee happy on legitamte good paying customers.
