Just learned today that Bank of America/Countrywide now charges $6.00 to make an on-time payment on the Web. Used to be that you could pay ontime for no charge. Now it's $6.00 unless you want to use autopay and pay 20 days or so in advance. (Loan is due 09.25.09, for example, and BAC requires you to pay between 09.01.09-09.05.09 via autopay if you want to avoid the charge.) The only other way to avoid the charge is the old fashioned way - send them a check on time. This is outrageous and I believe it was done with no notice to the customers. I pay my home loan and HELOC on time every month and have done so for years. But it doesn't matter. These charges, along with the overdraft scam, must be stopped! Help!

Anyone can 'Google' this- BANK EXECUTIVES PROFITING ON THE DEATH OF EMPLOYEES, and read the related articles, right?
Bank of America has $17 Billion in these policies, Wells Fargo has $17 Billion, and JP Morgan Chase has $11 Billion, according to the May 20, 2009, article that's still available on the web.
$17 Billion + $17 Billion + $11 Billion = $45 Billion.
Try to imagine one pile of cash that contains $1 Million. Now try to imagine 1,000 piles of cash each containing $1 Million.
That's $1 Billion.
Now try to imagine 45,000 piles of cash each containing $1 Million.
That's $45 Billion!
WOW!!!

It appears that many of the banks have taken out a total of $45 Billion in these policies, and a Texas law firm is representing some of these bank employees, who obviously were unaware that their employers had taken out 'secret life insurance policies' on their lives, without their knowledge or consent.
