Bank of America did the same as another complaint to my daughter. They opened her account. Let her make deposites and set up direct deposit. She made cash deposits. Then 8 days later they froze her account by way of $888,888.88 debit to her account. When I inquired (co-owner) they notified me of a ChexSytem Report. The ChexSystem report is and was wrong. Did not matter. I also had ( operative word "had") other accounts for several years - did not matter. The Loss Prevention department is terrible, rude, dismissive, the worst ever and of no help whatsoever, don't bother wasting your time. They also took $60.00 fee ( did not know what that was until I saw another post) if the infact, they conducted an investigation, they would have found that her report was not accurate. Does not matter, they want your money.
They are undergoing a stree test to get more of our money from the feds. They will take anything they can get away with. They charged my son an over the limit fee when a merchant made a $400.00 error, they are now charging my account a fee - even though I was linked to other accounts. They are getting really bad. Take your money out, (((Redacted))) is not great but better, (((Redacted))) if you are in their region, (((Redacted)))there other banks out there.

People, file complaints, file a complaint with OCC, Bank of America is a national bank, file complaints with your congress, file complaints with State Attorney, it is up to us to stop Bank of America and stop them from getting any more of our money from our accounts and from the federal government. Just google file complaint against national bank it will direct you and you can do it online. Google write your represenative. You will be directed to your congreeman or women. You young people have to get involved, vote and file complaints.
Bank of America gets away with this cause they have been protected by congress their policy. Stop being silent and submissive to this government. File compliants. I will help direct you if I have to!!

Bank Of America has always been In peoples pockets,they got me for over 7000.00 In 4 years. Overdrafts that should not have been overdrafts extra fees ect. When i filed for bankruptcy they had a lawyer show up and he tried to persuade the judge to not allow the bankruptcy to go through because i owed them (he said) 7600.00. I had every one of my receipts from the ATM,and tellers from day 1. When the judge asked for proof he could not produce the documents. Because they never existed. Watch BOA they are crooked.

I filed a complaint with OCC regarding BofA actions. BofA refunded fees they charged account. However, would not acknowledge their error on relying on an inaccurate report. I highly suggest all file complaints with OCC, Office of the Comptroller of Currency. Go to helpwithmybank.org. to file complaint. Took two weeks to receive monies they froze.
