During a loan closing I communicated the closing costs were excessive 4000 vs 2500 with other banks.
The bank being National either was to busy or failed to communicate during a three Business Day rule to close the the loan which i communicated in writting. Bank went on to say they were going to resign the settlemet but then ripped me off by funding the Loan.

AUTHOR: Ken - (USA)

"Within three business days of receiving the loan application RESPA requires the lender to give you a Good Faith Estimate of closing costs, which lists the charges the buyer is likely to pay at settlement. This is only an estimate and the actual charges may differ. Go to our page Closing Costs to see a list of the costs and fees you can expect to pay at closing."

This is NOT a 3 day rule for CLOSING.
