Complaint Review: Barclay Cards by Barclays Bank
Barclay Cards by Barclays BankInternet United States of America
Barclay Cards by Barclays Bank Barclays Group WARNING: DO NOT OBTAIN A BARCLAYS CREDIT CARD OF ANY TYPE!!! Fraudulent Business Practices Internet
For anyone that does not know how Barclays cards work. My wife used to be employed by Barclays PLC before we relocated due to my career. The Barclays card processing runs a legitimate mail fraud scam. They regularly scam American customers for additional service charges and fees (especially late fees).
My wife was a mail processing specialist for 5 years. One of her duties was to date stamp incoming mail (receivable payments). She was instructed by her superiors to post date stamp any returns that came in before the deadline (within 3 days prior to the actual due date) so that they would be documented as late. Then of course, they could apply these late fees and addtl. service charges to the bill total and sink the customer into deeper servitude. This is outright fraud to Americans. Their only motivation is pure greed and they are getting away with it over and over again.
When you contact them about the late fees - they have no options. They simply instruct the customer to send in the payment two weeks in advance because the U.S. mail cannot get a letter across country in less time. What a gigantic lie and disrespect for the American Postal Service Institution.
Barclays PLC is a British financial services firm operating worldwide. It is a holding company that is listed on the London and New York stock exchanges. Barclays PLC is ranked as the 25th largest company in the world by Forbes Global 2000. Being a foreign entity - they are not subject to the same regulations as American financial institutions.
Barclays was one of the major foreign banks with branches on American soil at the root cause of both the U.S. Housing Crisis and Credit Crisis of 2008 from which our great nation has yet to recover. They got a foothold in the U.S. by purchasing several regional bank chains and credit card companies from 1980-2000. They profited off American citizens hardship by: A. Acquiring the core business of Lehman Brothers and fired thousands of American workers; B. Barclays received billions of dollars from its insurance arrangements with AIG from the American taxpayer funded bailout. In summary, Barclays is a blight on the American economy and a threat to the welfare of the American people.
I strongly urge you to avoid getting a Barclays card. Their customer service is horrid. They have scammed millions of good honest Americans to date and will scam you too. The company is based in Great Britain and has a bias towards America - seeing Americans as slackers and foolhardy to pay credit charges without a fight. They even have some of this anti-American sentiment diatribe in their company training procedures.
Just PLEASE stay away from Barclays credit cards of any type. You will be thankful later.
Have a great day and best wishes!
