They are advertising a free 7 day trial that is not free. You are required to pay a welcome pack fee . No matter wht you do you cannot get the trial for free.False advertising. Also after you give your email address for the free trial it takes you to a page that requests a dollar and wants your credit card info and states in small print you will be billed a recurring monthly fee at 9.95 this is the actual wording from the second page:begine wording:*To activate your 7-day trial membership you will be charged a $1.00 refundable processing fee and you can immediately take advantage of the great savings Bargain Network has to offer. After your 7-day trial period your membership continues at $9.95 per week, billed on a monthly basis and is automatically charged to the credit card you use today. You can cancel at anytime with no further obligation. end wording.. When i called the number they did not mention any refunable fee and said i would be charged the 1.95 welcome pack fee. badge#14344 and supervisor badge# 11639 handled the calls.

Pay Bargain Network for Old Information

Until recently, I worked as a real estate broker in Florida specializing in listing and selling defaulted properties. I never had any kind of affiliation with Bargain Network, never listed my contact information with Bargain Network and never even looked at their website until:
I started to get phone calls from people interested in buying property listed on Bargain Network. In every case, yes every case, people were calling on properties that had been sold many months before. But bargain network still listed them as available for sale and it took many months of correspondence with Bargain Network to get them to remove my contact information from their website.
My guess is these folks "scrape" sites like BuyBankHomes and foreclosurenetwork and several others in order to get a list of properties for sale. Then they found thousands of people willing to pay a Buck and then $10 per month to get stale information. They certainly do not get this information by buying it from legitimate sources like (((ROR redacted competitor's name - see below))), etc.
sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome! This is not false advertising, just simply another misunderstanding. The 7 day trial that you speak of is when a customer signs up for the service online but needs to pay 1 dollar in order to that. That one dollar not only grants them unlimited acccess to the listings online but over the phone as well and it also covers the shipping and handling in order to send the materials out to the customer. Again, the shipping and handling, not the trial, is what costs money.
There is no refundable fee because the shipping and handling to send out listings every week, usually listings of thousands of car auctions of homes, is costly yet the customers are charged the lowest amount of shipping and handling for such a service compared to other shipping and handling costs. The difference in prices, 1 dollar as compared to 1.95 is because the 1 dollar activates a free 7 day trial whereas the 1.95 activates a free 30 day trial.
If Bargain Network were in the business of scamming its customers, which it is not, it would be have been shut down by both the Federal Trade Commission, which oversees it and the Better Business Bureau, which it is a member of. As was stated by another employee as well, customers do not listen and then feel cheated once they hear that they have to pay for shipping and handling.
