Bartholomew Jackson funeral home in Hartford Connecticut hired an agency to hide the following complaints in an effort to fix his bad reputation. Then he scammed us as well! The complaints against him are numerous in number and notorious in manner. Every aspect of his funeral services is rigged to disappoint and destroy one's last moments with a dear departed one. The employees appointed by Bartholomew Jackson are screened not for good record but time served or so it would appear when one sees them in action during a service. They are rude, incompetent and uncouth to ladies and bear no manner of courtesy towards the elderly. I have seen them destroy many a service not only by their callousness, but by abusing family members both publicly and threatening them in person. Such behavior is undeniably aggressive and criminal in nature and is the norm rather than the exception at Bartholomew Jackson's Funeral Home. The last funeral service complaint featured a single mother mourning for the loss of her aunt, having to face the indignation of her young child being badgering for merely tugging at the pant leg of the attendant in charge of the service. Not only did he react with extreme force against a minor, but he even dropped the casket in the melee and disrupted the service. To top matters, he didn't render any apology and the company even billed the single mother for supposed damages! Don't ever hire them...
