I order a headlight for my 2004 volvo s60r, i made sure that i asked that the part is for s60r and customer assured me over and over that it was the right part. but after a week when i received the part i relize right away that it was the wrong part. so that same day i made sure that i called basic car parts to let them know that it was the wrong part. the customer service didn't even seem surprise that it was wrong and i got a feeling that she just wanted to sell me the part so she could get her commission for that week. so they give me directions on sending the part back to rock auto. few days later i confirmed that rock auto received the part back. so now i waited another 7 days for basic car parts to refund me my money. and when they did refund my money they charged me almost $118.00 so they say it was for restocking fee but when i called rock auto they said that they didn't charge a restocking fee because was return in short time. i purchased the headlight for $475.00 and basic car parts refunded me back $356.25. i also paid for re shipping back the part which was $23.00. basic car parts is there when you want to pay something or anything but for refunds it was like dealing with the irs no one ever picks up the phone. I pray that basic car parts goes out of business soon because i don't want them to rip off any body else.
