So I went to a website needing to get some adapters and batteries for my older model laptops. I came across this website whom had low prices and had the items I needed for my older model laptops. Wow I thought cheap prices and they have what I need, the website even prompts you afterwards to give a survey on the website experience which I rated awesome. However, chime the dun dun dun, my experience was not great at all. I had ordered the
item this past Sunday but the website had a automatic prompt that said they would not be able to schedule the delivery for Tuesday the 12th, which I didnt not mind because they had what I needed for cheap. I had purchased overnight delivery for my two adapters, and two batteries for $53. So the 12th came and went, the
13th came and went, and on the 14th I decided let me check the status of my order, which had stated that the order had not been shipped out.
I attempted to contact the company which has a automated run around. I asked my husband to get in contact with them to see if he can get a better result, plus I was irate and did not want to start screaming on the
phone about my order. After several attempts he finally got a hold of someone which he was told he had not been sent out because the order had not address to deliver to. First I want to call b***S because my address was used for the billing portion as well as the delivery. Second I want to call b****S because who orders anything online and does not put the shipping address.
Third they stated they attempted to contact me via email and phone which I did not receive neither correspondence. So I requested seeing how my order had not been shipped out overnight can I get a refund for the shipping charges which they refused. Plus I was told that they did not know when they would be able to get the order to me, so I requested a full refund. The person on the other end hung up the phone, my husband called back once again after several attempts and was told the refund was processed and would take a couple of hours. Next day I checked my account no monies attempted to contact them again and was told that they were going to send the monies via PayPal. Hold up you did not take the money from PayPal you took it from my account so put it back to my account.
They gave us the run around about the whole ordeal and after several requests and a few choice words, like pulling teeth to find the tracking number of where my monies had gone. They said to wait until Monday to see if the funds would post, if not call back. These guys are scammers, big time. You cant really get anyone on the phone you are prompted to leave a voicemail.
Plus a business is suppose to account for a unhappy customer whom might request a refund for their
purchase, and now I have to open a Paypal account just to get my money back, seriously. I have reported these guys to the Better Business Bureau. I would not be surprised if the guys decide to write themselves a glorified report to combat their crappy service. I ask anyone who reads this if ever come across battdepot.com run the other way. I will not stop until these guys are brought to the light for the ripoff scam artists they are. I even have seen and heard these guys give refurbished jacked up products. Do not buy anything from these guys they are not worth the cheap prices they offer, and remember cheap does not mean better with these guys. BattDepot the ripoff kings.
