I bought a bottle of Bayer Tree & Shrub 32 ounce size to help rid my tree's of some bug issues. After trying the product I found it did not work on the bugs for my tree that were stated on the bottle.

The bottle states "Money Back Guarantee-If you are not satisfied with this product, we will gladly refund your original purchase price" I sent the original UPC along with my receipt and I wrote the company a request for a refund based on me not being satisfied with the outcome of the product. I received a form letter stating I "Must call them to discuss the situation"

It clearly did NOT say that on the package, Im thinking about filing a Class Action Lawsuit against Bayer Advance for deceptive marketing and mislableing.

They will not reund my money as stated-

Do not trust what they say on the packaging- It is a marketing ploy

COMMON DELAY PRACTICES

AUTHOR: JohnC - ()

These type of delay practicies are put into to place to discourage people from filing a refund-Many people do not have the time to waste calling on a product that they followed the manufactures label as directed only to find poor results.Lots of people just give up and chalk it off to a bad product while the company continues using these same strategies.

I did try and call and was on hold for over 10 minutes..finally the call got disconnected..How much time should one put into a refund?

I have used many of Bayers products before with succesful results, but now will not be buying anything with Bayer name on it as they do not stand behind the product.

I also have done many rebates by mail and am fully aware of following all of the rules they put on a label.

You want to start a class action lawsuit over a phone call request?

AUTHOR: FloridaNative - ()

You purchased the product, used the product, requested a full refund and the company wants to speak to you (apparently) before issuing the refund. It is possible that they want to discuss how you used the product to either change the directions or make the usage easier to understand. Maybe they are gathering results to change the formula of the product itself.

It is impossible to take steps to change the product or usage without determining why it isn't working under certain circumstances such as your particular circumstances.

What are you going to sue about? The company wanting to know details of why it didn't work?

Just because they asked you to call first, it doesn't mean that a refund won't be forthcoming. Unless you don't want to call because someone will come out to check your trees to see if the product actually worked as stated on the packaging. Then that would be a good reason to not call - because then you would get caught applying for a refund that you don't deserve.

I don't work for the company at all. But I think its wrong to buy something, use it for its intended use and then claim it doesn't work so you get a refund. You wouldn't be on here complaining about having to make a phone call if it really didn't work.
