My name is Carla and I am the manager of BeenVerified customer service. I'm sorry to hear you had any trouble with your trial account.
Based on the information you provided, I believe I may have located your account. If I have located the correct account, it appears you already spoke with customer service on 1/30 and received a refund of the charge. But if your issue has not yet been resolved, please do not hesitate to contact us at 888-579-5910 or at support@beenverified.com with your member id so we can locate your account and provide additional assistance as soon as possible.
We offer a seven day trial with access to unlimited background reports. If the account is not canceled within the seven days, then you are billed for the subscription you selected after the end of your trial, on the 8th day. You canceled on the 8th day, through our automated system. Since you were already billed for the subscription, please be assured that upon canceling as a paid customer, you still had access to log into your account and run unlimited background reports until the end of your paid term. (You had three months of unlimited reports for the $48 you were billed). Once your account was canceled, you would not be billed for a subscription going forward.
If a customer has already been billed but does not wish to use the service for that paid term, then we encourage them to contact customer service so we may review their account and work with the customer to resolve the issue.
