Hello, my name is Mike. The above small fine print was at the bottom of my REBATE coupon. Notice the above statement "Customer must return coupon within 30 days of receipt." Now look at what is also on the REBATE coupon that was sent me:
"Attach the front page of your BellSouth phone bill (or a copy) with your name and account information. (Please send one page only and do not send your payment to this address).

So the idea is this; Once you get a bill in the mail from BellSouth you will need to attach your coupon to the bill and mail it in for your REBATE. The scam is simple, all BellSouth has to do is not send you a bill for 1 month and your REBATE expires!..:) Nice little scam wouldnt you say.

I have not received a bill from BellSouth in over 2 months. Which means my REBATE is well over expired. I'm sitting here waiting for my bill that states my current service purchased and I never get one! That is $100.00 dollars for the DSL modem rebate and $50.00 dollars for the service rebate. I lost $150.00 dollars!!! I called BellSouth customer service over 6 times and each time I was assured my bill would come on specified dates. When my bill would not show up, I called again and a new date was given. These bold face lies just continued. Multiple times BellSouth has not only lied to me but has given me false information regarding my account. For instance, I signed up for DSL service on the internet and purchased a Static IP address at the time I signed up. After my IP address changed several times I called BellSouth to find out what was going on. They told me that my static IP just went into service. When my IP address changed 2 more times I called and they said I never ordered a static IP..???!!!! What the!!! This type of bull crap from BellSouth is killing me. Please do not fall victim to this type of service from BellSouth!!!!
